Default Stepped Checkout

Will there be a stepped checkout system in V4. I noticed if you hit back during listing which many visitors do on my site the connection breaks. Also is there an Ad Preview at the end before paying?

Thanks in advance.

Both items are on the v4 roadmap so I'm sure they'll be there.

Civ is correct however even though it includes a stepped checkout doesn't mean they can't hit the back button. And if they there is a possibility a listing or order could be added twice.

Have noticed on many of the web's biggest sites, that hitting the back button still maintains the form content of previous pages. How is that achieved from a programing point of view? Is it server centric?

I'm guessing they intercept the back button and reload the page with the $_POST data that gets reassigned to the field values.

Firefox is good about using the back button, however ie is not.

For v4 what I tried to do was if the user hits the back button then a new duplicate post will be sent. So instead of adding a new record it will update the existing one. However a lot of checks have to be in place for this and I don't want to say it will 100% work by using the back button. However if you use the breadcrumb navigation it should pick everything up correctly.

I hope that makes sense.

Sounds good to me. I think from a HCI standpoint if the breadcrumb buttons are well placed and large enough for the user to see I don't think they will hit the back button but rather the breadcrumb buttons. So no 2px arrows

Looking forward to using V4. The new backend looks awesome, good work as usual.
