Default Uploading data in bulk to create new content pages

Hi,

I want to create some article pages for my classifieds site by doing a bulk insert through the database. Each of these pages will become additional pages just like the terms and conditions page.

Please can someone let me know which tables I will need to populate and in which order?

Will the ID field automatically get incremented or should I explicitly load this as well?

Thanks in advance...

Unless you know what you are doing and the database is very familiar to you, I would not do it this way. It is not going to be much quicker to cut and paste into a database than it is to just use the built in editor anyway. You are also less likely to make mistakes.
