Google maps location by event field

I have a garage sale category set up just for events. I would like to be able to set google maps to read the event address that the user enters for the map location. In version 2 (google maps) if a user forgets to click on their location on the map it displays a blank map in the listing. Also if they click on the wrong location there is no re-ajusting the location pin. They would have to re-enter a new listing in that case. Should I have gone with the 1st version of GM?

They should be able to reclick the map in checkout to reposition the marker. If they forget to click the map at checkout, all they need to do is edit their listing and click on the map again where they want the marker to place it.
