Lightbulb Local Radio Spot

A local pop radio station kissfm98.9 made this bit for me. I did most of the writing. What do you folks think of the spot?... http://www.louad.com/spot.mp3

Does it simply get across what a classified site is? Did I tempt the listener to try it?

Sounds great - well done. The only reservation I have is the name of the site. LOU-AD. In print, it is easily recognised and straight forward to spell. However on radion (audio), not sure the spelling is readily recognised - even though you did spell it in the ad. But then again, coming from the land downunder, it maybe me who is having the problem with the yanky drawl!

To test your ad, you could ask listeners in a test audience to tell you the URL of the site after listening to the ad.

Thanks for the comments!
"Lou" is a pretty common prefix for domains here.
And I was going for that new/odd/short word maybe people would remember (louad). Like google or yahoo. lol

Yes, it is very nice ad. IMO it just starts too fast. Maybe it needs something in front to grab the attention (some music sound or something).
Just wondering what is the cost for such radio ad?

A website without well-done Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization is as good as non-existent.

Normally you can get the radio station you buy air time from to make a spot for you if you commit to a month or so.

If not or you want an ad to use across multiple stations or you want a higher quality ad...

Then you can use a production studio and costs vary. (http://killerspots.com/)I have not used this particular site.
Starting around $500 from my experience.

My spot was a freebie after I commited to one month.

It's fairly cheap if you ask me.

Airing the spot ranges from $3.00 to $50.00 USD per time, per 30 seconds in the U.S. from my experience in this region.
