Hi Guys, Ive just launched a new website and part of it is a web directory.

If you are UK based you can register and place a free listing on the site.

You can also place a link to your website to help boost your search engine rankings.

The address is

This site was made entirely with the 68 developers edition so if you wish to have a look to see how powerful this kit really is.

Please bear in mind that the site is brand new and there may be the odd niggle. Please report any if you finde them

I registered, but looking at it there is no obvious web directory, there is a directory for businesses though as well as the classifieds section, but my site covers the whole of the uk not just an area.

Looks great for people who have a business though, I'll have a word with people I know while its free and see if I can drum up some support

Not only are you willing to help me. I can very easily add a web directoy to this site using my 'maffo-multisite' mod. Excellent thinking Batman.

What is this mod about? The name of this mode is sound interesting.

I agree, sounds as if Maffo has a new secret weapon he is trying out before he turns it loose on the rest of us!

The 'maffo multisite' may or not go on sale one day. Depends on v4 and how easily I can integrate it.

If you click on my links underneath you can see how the multi site is working.

There are three sites on there are the moment all running on the same database, all with different functions.

A directory,
Classifieds
Personals (hidden from public for now)

In my admin I simply press add a new site.
I then have to make a new viewlisting.tpl and showlistings.tpl to display the info as I want.

The site is then up and ready to go.

What will happen with the site is that any categories created for lets say classifieds, will only appear in the classifieds.

The search will only search cats from that maffsite-tm.
The featured and new listings etc.

If you click the links underneath you can compare the multi sites and see they are the same but completely different.

I probably would be interested one day, I mean that day when it may (or not) go on sale.

I think you may have just solved a big problem for me, and if so I love you!!

On this mod, if someone logs into site 'A' as user type 1 would that login and usertype hold as true for sites 'B' and 'C' if so I would like to beg borrow buy or steal the mod now, it would not even have to work on v.4 at the moment either
