Default A bit of testing help please

I am looking for anyone that will help me who is based in the U.S or U.K. I don't want to bog this other thread down
iphone app but I am interested in the experience and times of pages loading from this site:

Property In France

At the end of the day, its going to be important to me that visitors can see this site O.K. and that it loads reasonably well. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help. Just PM me if you don't feel like posting.

Tried on my HTC Desire via Vodafone in the UK - rural area, signal OK but probably not at city speeds. Quite slow to load, it's the images that take all the time. When I went to a properties details page 90 seconds had passed and only 2 of the 8 images had arrived.

I compared it to our site - Dunsters Equine - an advert which had 4 images - Passier dressage saddle which was loading fully in around 40 seconds.

Looking via the fixed broadband - 2Mb connection, the images take a few seconds to download.

The small images are relatively large in file size - 150kb for some of them x 8 = 1.2Mb which is quite a lot for a 3G connection to do speedily. Is there a way you can optimise them?

Hope that helps

Mike

Many thanks. Yerr I think I know where the problems is. I am scaling the photos and not using the pre-scaled thumbs. Thankyou for that. Its actually a bug which is self-induced.
