You have made some nice enhancements to the Evo templates - well done. Like the images and color combinations.

Hi,
Looks good appart from the pixelated thumbs on the home page thumbnails. Fix them up and it looks great.

The issue is what ever you choose for your thumb nail proportions ( fixed size), people will enter differently. Rubbish in and rubbish out. If you code for portrait images, people will enter landscape for example. The best you can ever do unless there is a way of trimming and scaling is to advise on what will look best and provide a link to an online scaling/trimming application.

In this case, I think you are going to be lucky. It would seem that most of your users and subject matter are using landscape and you should re-enforce that by putting some advice on your site about what images are going to look best - give them proportions for example width/height 3:2 or whatever.

Just adjust the image size in modules/custom_plugins/plugins/function.css_listings_horizontal.php and then adjust the css in that module to take some of the white bordering space out. That will fix it nicely.

Hi,
David is very correct, someone always uploads a photo that mucks up the layout.
But for the front pae it is
100px 63px (scaled to 100px 86px) so it is trying to stretch the images but in view listing it displays them fine, so maybe for the plugin it needs to be set to 100x63
Just food for thought
Nick

Seems reasonable Nick. We need to control people a lot more.
