HorseOptions.com - Horse Classifieds...with Options! - What do you think of the website so far? We seem to be having trouble talking people into choosing the 1 pic ad for $1 vs the free ad. It seems they are searching for that free ad only and nothing else matters. Any ideas? Any more feedback on our website would be appreciated.

Overall, I think that you did a good job with your site. I do have a few suggestions though.

I noticed that some of the pages increase the overall width of your page to accommodate the content in the main table cell (the cell on the right hand side), so you may want to consider increasing the width of that column so that you have a consistent width throughout the site.

Another suggestion that I would have is to modify your stylesheet so that the borders of your tables in more inline with your color scheme. I would suggest a shade of brown. Off the top of my head I believe the class is "tableborder."

Along the same vein as above, you might also want to modify the table header color to match your design as well.

Rob - I have tried to milk a few dollars out for Featured Listings but have also had very little success. One thing I would suggest is for you to feature the Featured Listings on your home page which would add significant value to the price; if you have the page views to justify it.

I personally generate revenue from paid Sponsorships because I have the traffic.

I also believe that showing the number of listings you have on the home page increases placed listings and reduces your bounce rate. Your litings are one page deep if I am correct.
