Default Snowmobile Classifieds

It is not completely finished, and I really only work on it a little here, a little there, on my free time. However its starting to take shape.

I still have the homepage to figure out, and some misc templates to either change or finish. Also Some things are in the site just to act as placeholders for information I will be adding (like login.php for instance with two boxes, one of them will be for registering information)

Some functions I have, arent on the front end of the site yet, so check back regularly I guess to see it take shape.

Feel free to check it out:

The registration page is at registera.php I renamed it to avoid signups until I finish, I have a custom error page that can be seen by trying register.php

(Putting it like this so google doesnt see it yet. A robots.txt is in place also):
sled[nospace]dealer[dot]com

User demo pass demo for a short period

Feel free to sign in and post some ads, you can also mark items as sold (something I prefer over deleting, because if a user marks an item as sold, it shows others that my site can provide results. Eventually the system deletes it 14 days after being marked.)

What else... It acts as a duel function classifieds. I want to allow the general public and business's to list, and I need a way to distinguish them in a bigger way, so I created a business section. People who sign up as business's will show up in what will soon be a yellowpages type of directory. (business_directory.php) that page exlcudes people who signup as private sellers. (registration.php, business_registration.php)

I believe when my site is finally ready, it will be the dealers and service providers that will initially kick it off, and hopefully the general public will see a site with content, and pick up on it.

My site also allows me to turn of price by category, so that I can offer the service of allowing people to add a listing about their business or repair service, areas that dont have a specific price, so it never asks for one.

The ad banners system is also part of adding a listing (if you login and click the "advertise here" links, you will see what I mean)

Added my own quick search, which anyone is welcome to by looking at the page source.

Also sort of integrated two image viewing types in viewlistings, when clicking the thumbnail it replace the big pic with the one clicked, and if you click on the bigger one, thickbox pops ups with a bigger version.

IDK, I have changed a lot, and added a lot, I really lost track, if something seems off, odds are It is on my todo list.

It is intentionally plain, it uses a lot of white, lol is white a color? I am waiting until I am finished to clean it up(visually and html wise), and add a little color to liven it up.

Feel free to let me know what you think so far.

Thanks

Just modified the showlistings page, and I think I am getting closer to how I want it to look. I still have a lot of html to cleanup when I am finished but I think it is getting there.

For highlighted listings I am using a border rather than highlighting the whole thing, something I might change in the future.

Let me know what you think of the showlistings results page.

SledDealer.com

I applied the same format to my business directory page, however I think I will change it up a bit in the future just to set it apart a little from the showlistings page.
