Default Database tables

I have got what appears to be some old database tables on my site, just wanted confirmation that its ok to delete them. The ones that seem to be in use are prefixed class_xxxxxx but I still have some without the prefix, is it ok to delete these or do I need to keep them?

Everything from our system should be prefixed "class_" except for the zipcode table if you have the zip code search installed.

Now if you have any modules installed they may be using these tables.

they seem to be for the classifieds, its things like admin, product, listing that are like the classified names, I will check that they are not used on modules first though!
