include toplistings.php?pg=new

Hi

In a section of my layout.tpl.php page (front page of my site) I am trying to display the toplistings. I am using the following code inside my layout.tpl.php file:
{php}
include ('toplistings.php?pg=new');
{/php}

This results in absolutley nothing. No result and no error messages.
Does anyone know how to do this?
