One of my customers just let me know that her listing is not coming up in the appropriate search, and I can't figure out why.
Here is her ad: http://www.extendedtrot.com/viewlisting.php?view=256 Note that in the "Trained/Shown In" field, it says Three Gaited Show Pleasure. When you use the Search feature, and search on category Horses For Sale, and then Trained/Shown in = Three Gaited Show Pleasure, this ad does not come up in the results and I can't figure out why. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks! Trina |

That is very odd, but I don't know what causes that. I did notice that in the found list of the ones that I looked at all had more than one entry for that field.

I just had a look as well and I can't figure it out.
Can you submit a ticket here and we will try and get this figured out: http://www.68classifieds.com/customers/ticket/ We will probably need ftp access to run some tests. Also I wanted to say that I think your site looks amazing!

Thanks - I just submitted my ticket.
Mike-N-Tosh - I also noticed that most of the other ads had more than one option chosen in that field and tried to see if that made a difference, but it still didn't come up in the results. And, thanks for the compliment on the site, but I can't take any credit I actually found a designer/developer here on the old version of this site when you had all the examples listed (if that is still here I just can't find it anymore - doh). I am very pleased with his work I have one other question - is there any way to bring the Title of the ad into the Paypal payment notification? Sometimes if I get a couple at a time, it is hard to tell which payment is for which ad, etc. Thanks again! |

Oddly enough I just had the same issue. A listing was posted and it did not show up in the search. Also if you search by Listing ID number from the backend it also does not show. I fixed it by deleting the listing and recreating it. If anyone has any similar issues please post.
