suzkaw is a jewel in the rough
Default It snowed!

I just wanted to say we got our first snow of the year. A whooping 1/2 inch at most. I know it isn't very exciting for most but down here everything closes and you can't find any bread or milk.

I also heard rumors civ is snowboarding in his backyard.

I almost did! We got about 2" which was plenty enough to cover the grass, and we have a big hill in the backyard. About the time I got serious about it though, it started to sleet and turned icy. It's too bad, my son would've loved it.

I took a vacation day next Thu though, and I'm headed to Cataloochee for the day. If it weren't for that arm I'd tell you to join us!

Oh man I would take you up on that offer if I thought I could do it. The last time I went snowboarding I spent a lot of time on the ground so I would need both arms to get up.

There, there, dears, you enjoy your snow. We have had a record year for snow up here in Canada this year and as I am nestled right at the foot of one of the province's most popular ski resorts, well... I'll tell you, I'd rather be somewhere warm right now!

Bless Canada, I love the politics, the food, and the hockey, but I hate the cold. Too bad I couldn't transfer Canada to Hawaii or something.

(So who wants to order truckloads of snow?! I smell a money making venture coming on with all you traitorous snow lovers!)

I would take a truck load. Unfortunately it would probably melt in a few hours though.

Well, a couple of hours gives you a little time for some fun!

Though fun it's not, for me anyway. We have a 10 horse, 20 goat farm and wading snow up to your hips to bust water barrels open is not my idea of fun!
