Default Questions: License, Storefront, Buy Now, Load test

1. When purchasing your product, will I receive a lifetime license to that version? When a new version comes out, would you require me to upgrade?
2. In the demo, I did not see anything related to a storefront for the users? Did I miss something?
3. Do you have an option or upgrade to allow sellers to have a Buy it Now option on their ads and receive payment directly from buyer through Paypal?
4. Is there a sample site or chart where you have tested your script with a large number of ads say 10,000 ads and a large number of users and it shows the load times for pages?

1. Yes, the license never expires. If you would like to upgrade after your initial support period has expired, you will have to purchase an upgrade to download the latest version.
2. The Seller Store feature is a module that provides your customer the ability to upload a logo and promotional text above a list of all their ads.
3. There is no ecommerce nor auction-style functionality in the classifieds script. The script is built to get buyers and sellers together. Anything related to accepting payment is for the purpose of purchasing listings.
4. To be perfectly honest, I feel that publishing results from a development environment for you to make a decision about a production environment would be misleading. Server setup, network traffic, connection speed, etc. influence load times many times more than the script's performance.

We appreciate your interest in 68 Classifieds.

1. Are you limited to installing 68 Classifieds on 1 domain when you purchase? If so, can you install multiple times on that domain?
2. Is there a screenshot or demo of the Seller Store? Does it cost extra or is it included in the package price?
3. Do you customize the script for people? If so, do you have a standard rate or do it by the job?
4. Would you say this system could handle a max of 1000 ads/500 users or 10,000ads/ 5,000 users?

I don't work for 68c. I'm just a user, but here's my answers to your questions...

Yes, the license is for one domain only. You can install more than one instance on the same domain.

Not that I'm aware of (screenshot). It is a free included module.

68c itself does not do customization, however there is a link to developers that can do customizations in the customer area of the site. Of course, if you want to customize it yourself that is one of the reasons that we have these forums.

The script itself can handle this, however this is a loaded question, because there are several factors about load handling. eg: What type of server is it on?, Is it a shared host?, What are the parameters on the server set to for items within the php.ini file, hosting client limitations, etc.....

Hope that helps!
