Default Pre-Sales Question

Hi,

I'm in the consideration process but have a couple of questions first.

1. Ther are 2 options for the script...Developer and Designer. If I buy the Developer edition I'm able to modify the code and with the Designer edition I'm NOT able to modify the code.

If I purchase the Designer edition am I able to modify the templates for the site?

I'm not quite sure what the major advantage is to be able to modify the code with the Developer edition.

2. What is the cost for an extra license for an additional site or sites?

Thanks for your help.

Kent

I don't work for 68Classifieds so this is not an "official" response.

With Designer edition, you can modify templates to your hearts desire. With Developer you can modify code as well.

Templates affect how the pages look while code affects the function of what you are working with. From previous posts, I believe that if you get the Designer edition and later decide that you want to be able to modify the code, you can upgrade to the developers version.

Thanks Mike! I appreciate your time.

Is the company unresponsive here? Makes me wonder since I put up the question almost a day and a half ago and nobody from the company took a minute to answer it.

Geese, is support the same way?

No, really not. The support here is excellent, but right now a little slow. In my mind I remember some there are on vacations and the rest is busy with the new version of 68 Classifieds.
I really can recommend the Developer Version.

Sorry for not being responsive. I had to take a few unexpected days off this week but normally I try to stay on top of questions.

Our current policy is we offer 20% off any additional licenses that are purchased within 3 months of the last purchase.
