(I love jumping through hoops . So don't let that bother you at all. In fact, I kinda thought that's what it was, and should have tested it before posting. But I didn't see it till after I posted. And besides, I really didn't know. PHP complicates things for me. And Smarty throws me in the trash can.)

, it didn't work.
"But it Should have!" I checked the source code that is being output to the page, and it is Correct! I guess I'm gonna have to get back to you on this one because, it should have worked.
Ok soo, let me do some more "indepth" testing so that I can give more than, "it should have worked, but didn't".
