Hi there,
I looked into doing this but as far as I can see, all you need to do is copy and rename your search.php to lets say catcearch.php. Change search.tpl.php to catsearch.tpl
All you need to do is open up cat search and remove all the elements you dont wish to be searchable, such as price etc. Just leaving Categories and Location.
