The reason why we choose to have them displayed both 'within' AND 'outside' the store is for increased exposure to potential customers. This is one of the benefits of the mod and from a marketing point of view, for the life of me, I cannot understand why you would want to have exposure reduced.

This is correct if you are using the bStore as it was originally intended (i.e, a beefed up store for owners selling via a classified site).

If on the other hand you are wanting to build a business directory site (using the bStore module) then having them displayed outside the store is less of an issue. For example, I would want visitors to be able search/view ONLY the business profile pages (or .....now that I think about it .... also have the option of searching/viewing all individual store items across your entire site via a separate/different search page). That way the main focus is on the business profile first and foremost.
