Hello together

As written in the first post of this thread, the same goes for me. I'm using another ads software right now but I'm not happy with it anymore
Not only that the support forum almost is dead since 2003, a few weeks ago some security exploits have been detected but the support seems to have no real interest in fixing these problems. That's why I decided to switch to a new software, hoping it will last for a long time...

For almost a week now I do evaluate many ad software. 68C seems to be the one which suits my needs at a reasonable price. But before I change to a new software, I have a few questions:

1) Your company exists for three years now. How many people are working there? Is it a 'one man show' or are there employees? If so, how many? I understand if you will not answer this question, because it is a personal one

2a) How does the update process work? If you have a newer version, is it necessary to upload the whole package or do you provide an update package with the changed files only?

2b) If you release an update, are the templates affected as well? In other words: If I make changes to the templates, do I have to rewrite these changes on the 'new' templates?

3) If I buy the designer version now, is it possible to upgrade to the developer version at a later time with a 'upgrade price' or do I have to pay the full price by then?

4) Is it possible to change the complete look and feel with the designer version? Basically I never change any core files to make sure I can update the software at any time without having a lot of work. But I know many software where some changes can't be done in the templates. Is there a list where I can see what can be changed in the templates and what can be changed in the core files only (layout, color, form fields etc.)?

Please forgive me asking you all these questions, but I did burn myself with the 'old' software. That's why I'm very careful before using a new one because the whole migration will be a lot of work and I really don't want to run into troubles again...

Thank you very much!
Best regards
Patrick
