Hi.
After a lot of research I've narrowed my choice down to 2 scripts for a classifieds website. 68 Classifieds and the Geodesic Solutions Premier or Enterprise. Does anyone have any experience with Geodesic and what is their software like. There is quite a big price difference so I was wondering if one is that much better than the other. Does it mean that the more expensive Geodesic one will give me many more faciilties and flexibility which I may use in the future.
Any ideas or experiences will be much appreciated.

It shows you the support and additional products you can get from companies like us TemplateCodes | Classifieds Scripts | Shopping Carts | Email Marketing which will enhance the 68 classifieds core script in a very large number of directions. Just consider this forum and how busy it is and the degree of assistance people get.

Thanks for your reply. I have had a look at your suggestions, but could you tell me if one is better than the other as far as features and flexibility are concerned.

Without meaning to be facetious would you expect me to tell you that Templatecodes and 68 Classifieds is not better than Geodesic. I think the answer is pretty clear by virtue of this forum, 68C support and the quality of the 3rd party developers that 68 classifieds attracts.

Yes it is really hard to say. In the past I have done conversions for customers wanting to move away from their system but to be honest I am not really sure how they compare to each other. We add in features based off what our customers want so I am sure they share similar things but I also imagine they are very different under the hood.

All I can really tell you is if you purchase from us you will get support, updates, and very active forums.

When decoiding which software is best for you there really is no shortcut. You should read, cover to cover, the documentation for both and spend a LOT of time in the admin section of their sites learning how the different peices tie together and how they work. Thats the only way you can be sure you get the script that will work best for you.
