Payment Processor Question

Good Morning,

First time posting!

Well I'm excited about this software. It seems it will be the solution to my company's problem! (crossing fingers)

I have 1000 questions, we're supposed to be purchasing today...one question:

Payment Providers listed are:
■Authorize.net AIM
■Authorize.net SIM
■Email
■Paypal
■Paymate
■Worldpay

and then there are the "add your own" instructions. Do the "add your own" instructions work with just about every gateway/merchant.

I ask because we've had a hard time getting approved for an account & we were finally approved by Flagship/ First Data. Knowing how difficult it was to get approved, if we aren't able to use Flagship with teh software, then buying it doesn't make much sense.

Any help? Suggestions? Should it be easy for a developer to use the "add your own" instuctions?

Thanks for your interest. Do you have any integration documentation or they have any online that we can take a look at?

As long as they are not using some crazy system then it should be able to be integrated but if you can post docs we can confirm it.

I don't know if that helps, I'll look for more specific information.

Luckily our site is hosted on hostgator and I've seen it mentioned around here that the software works with them.

I looked at both sites and could just find an overview of what it does.

One thing it did say was:

Easy integration with almost any commerce system, order management or accounting software

So I am guessing they have it setup like most other gateways. I would recommend contact them and ask them if the API works similiar to Authorize.net AIM or if they can send you a php developer guide.

Thanks again Eric...I was thinking the same thing about the limited information on the sites.

Luckily I saw your reply just as my partner was about to phone them to go over some account/bank information. She is going to ask them about what you said, so I guess we'll have an answer shortly.

I have other questions. Should I continue them in this thread, or start one with a different title?

You have no idea how much I appreciate the wonderful customer service (and collective community assistance) around here with what we've been through over the past 2 months with a developer who could not deliver! I wish I had found your site/product in June!

While I was trying to start a new thread, wrote a lot, then accidentally erased it (urgh), my partner called me to tell me that she didn't think the people quite understood what she was asking. Their response to her was to have our Developer call them so that they could set him up with everything (as if we just wouldn't understand, right? lol).

ANYWAY,

We answered our own question...click on the Linkpoint link & guess what? Linkpoint is now First Data, which is who we're using.

So integration should be easy and that answers our question!

Now that you mentioned that I think I do remember hearing about it. Yes it should work by default but if not we would create the integration for you since that is an included gateway.
