Default vBulletin, Language, Rating and Category listing

Hello,

we search for a classified solution which can replace our 10 year old classified script that we programmed by ourselfs.
We want to have it more searchable, with a good rating solution and with the possibilty to comment listings.
I have read a lot of stuff in the forum and on the template site but I am not sure if 68 classifieds can all we want.
Please advice me if the following requierements will work.

Multilanguage:
we need the possiblility to offer two languaages. I found out that there is a language file that we have to translate. But is it possible to support two languages at the same time?

Rating:
The most classified solutions offer a rating system that don't ask for a transaction or it is possible to rate somebody who have not made a deal with. Is it possible to rate only those guys with a valid and closed transaction?

Category listing
I found a module that allow to add extra fields in the listing (the description of this module is very short).
I need different extra fields for different categories. And of course I want to display some of them in the listing.
For example:
Extra field "condition" for category listing "used parts"
Extra field "mileage" for category listing "used cars"

vBulletin
The desciption of this addon is also not so good.
I would like to know what exactly does this module and how it work.
I have to install the 68classifieds product in the vBulletin database? And 68classifieds use the user fields of the user table?
If yes, is it also possible to use the extra user fields in vBulletin? And is it possible to ask for those fields if they are empty or not?
Or do you use a cookie-solution for it?
Can you describe how it works and how I can make sure that only members can add classifieds who have filled out the basic fields like phone number, city and country. All those members who only want to use the forum don't want to give this information.

Thanks a lot
Andr

Hi,

Multilanguage: - We include language files and you can have the system swap these files however everything stored in the database remain in the language they are entered.

Rating: - This is a third party module available here: ClassifiedMods Rating Module

Category listing - That is an included feature. Extra fields can be related to specific categories and two categories can have different fields.

vBulletin - This module shares the users. In other words if someone registers with your classifieds they are then signed up to your forums. If they register for the forums they are automatically registered in the classifieds.

Thank You Eric,

Rating:
I saw the rating module but I miss the information if this module allow ratings without restrictions or
if it is possible to rate only user who have a valid and closed classified (as seller or buyer).
If it is possible to rate every user we will get a problem in our community. Too much users will abuse the rating system if a seller is "too expensive" or wote a not detailed description. I want to use a rating system only for a deal (like the ebay rating).

Category listing:
Is it possible to show a additional extra field as column in the list of classifieds (in standard)?

vBulletin
Is it possible to use the vB-cookies so that the users are automatically logged in (without using a password in 68classifieds)?
If not, how does it work if a user change the password in vBulletin? Do they have two different passwords? Or can I create a cron job that copy all extra userfields incl. the password every hour?
Do I have to install the 68classifieds database in the vBulletin database?

Thanks
Andr

It is not possible to rate seller/buyer because the stock script doesn't know who purchased it. Since transactions are not handled by the script.

This will be easier in v4.1 when it is out but yes it is possible. You just can't make it sortable without making core code changes. Pretty complex.

It doesn't share vb cookies.
Right now it doesn't sync if they would change the password in vb.
Cron job would be a great option however vb encrypts their passwords differently than we do. So it would make it tough.
No they do not have to be in the same db.
