I have been looking at this classified system but where can I find information on how to customise the look and feel. Are there templates for sale like expression engine and joomla?

The templates for 68C are just plain HTML/CSS files with the dynamic data (is stuff from database) enclosed in curly brackets.

With that in mind you change the look and feel of your 68C site by editing the CSS files and template files to suite your needs.

68 classifieds offers some alternative templates you can buy and there are some 3rd party templates listed on the site ClassifiedMods

There is a basic choice. You can use the default templates and seek to customize them to your needs which requires some degree of programming effort or you can work with a template like those given here 68 Classifieds Templates The latter could save you a lot of time regardless of whether you are a novice or designer/developer.
