99% access to source code. Two files encrypted.
What is the function of these two encrypted files. Why are they encrypted.
Are there links inside this code.

Hi,
What particular package are you looking at purchasing? That will determine what you can and cannot do with the script.

The encrypted files are provided to generally provide a level of copyright protection for 68 Classifieds.

If purchasing v3.1 Developer, you can do 'almost anything' to the total script - so long as it is a registered version. This is checked against the domain you have nominated. Try and copy the script to another domain and that's when the encrypted files are used to restrict this type of action.

99% access to source code
This allows you to completely customise your layout, display and presentation at your own web site. Also allows you to add mods if using the 'Developer' versions.

Hope this answers your questions. If not, please feel most welcome to 'reply'.

Sorry but not sure what you mean by this question. Can you elaborate?

We are a non-profit in the Philippines - ProMedCare. Our intent is to list all the medical practices in each city. Our webmaster is afraid of backward links [ backdoors ] to our data and our websites. He has other sites on the same server. Give me a phone number I can call and talk to you on.
Thanks for the quick reply - less than 10 minutes.

Basically what Chaslie wrote is correct.

The developer edition only has two encrypted and those files handle the licensing and should never need to be edited.

The designer edition has all the php file encrypted except the templates and modules.

I am not sure about the links question either but you are free to remove links to 68 Classifieds but you must keep the copyright in all the php files.

There are no backdoors. The administration area checks our site to make sure your license key is valid and that you are only using it on the one domain. That is basically all it does.

My company uses the script and can assure you, there is no 'backdoor'.
However fully appreciate your question about this.

Default ProMedCare non-profit

We had almost made a deal with another company with code like yours

webumake.com

But at the last minute they closed down.
If we had - we would not have been able to function at all.
Their site closed down - the encripted code would have kill our site.
This is another reason we do not want encripted codes.
We will sign any agreement you want; we do not care about web development. We are a non-profit health care provider.

can you make your system do this:
there are 9 regions in the Philippines.

Region1.ProMedCare.com/service1/City1/user1

Example:

Region1.ProMedCare.com/Dentistry/City1/DrRubyCollett

Region1.ProMedCare.com/Optician/City1/DrNancyDomingo

Groupings:

User Group : Region1.ProMedCare.com
[ make user select of a list of 9 Regions only ]

Users:
User Sub: /Dentistry/City1/
User: DrRubyCollett
User Sub: /Optician/City1/
User: DrNancyDomingo

Also, is it possable for a user group to be a
combination:

User Group : Region1.ProMedCare.com/Dentistry/
with user : Region1.ProMedCare.com/Dentistry/user1
or
User Group :
Region1.ProMedCare.com/Dentistry/City1/
with user : Region1.ProMedCare.com/Dentistry/City1/user1
or
User Group :
Region1.City1.ProMedCare.com/Dentistry/
with user : Region1.City1.ProMedCare.com/Dentistry/user1
