Default Use 68C for company intranet trading post?

I'm looking at 68C for the first time. I'm pleased with what I've seen and learned so far. I'd appreciate some feedback about the idea I'm considering for using 68C in my corporate intranet environment as an online trading post for employees?

As a free service to employees we post weekly advertisments on our intranet (as well as hardcopy bulletin board postings). I'm now interested in using the 68 Classifieds app to allow employees to login and add their own ads. However, the ads would need to be viewed/approved first before going live.

What do you think about using 68C this way? We don't need to charge employees for posting their ads. But I do like the idea of letting employees submit their own ads.

In a separate issue, what is this 'ioncube' security? I hope this isn't something that will cause our network IT people to reject my request to use your 68C app. If we use 68C it will run internally behind our network firewall not on the Internet. Any comments?

Thanks for your feedback.

Hi,

I don't see any reason it wouldn't work for this purpose. You can also set it up to manually approve listings so they can be verified.

The ioncube is for our security and keeps people from running illegal copies of the script. Here is a link to their site for more information: http://www.ioncube.com/
