What can and cant be done on the $99 version

Hi,
I am buying this for a school project, i need to be able to edit most aspects of this site for the cource. I can not afford to pay $200 for it but i can buy the $99 version. But what i need to know what is the differance in the editingability that cant be changed in the cheaper one? what can be changed? is there any more info on this?

Designer Edition: You can edit the layout of your website. You can edit ALL .tpl files.

Developer Edition: You can do what the designer edition allows (edit template files) but you can do a lot more such as edit any PHP files (except for 1 or 2, which are main core files). For examples of things you can do by editing the PHP files I recomend heading over to http://www.68classifieds.com/forums/...splay.php?f=42 and viewing each modification. Some modifications you can do with the designer edition, and other modifications you must have the developer edition.

Pretty much, if all you want to do is edit the look and feel of your site, then the designer edition is the way to go.

But if you want to go beyond that and edit PHP code and change the way your website does thing, then you'll need the developer edition.

You can always go for the designer edition first then upgrade to the developer edition, but upgrading costs an additional $25.
