Banner Ads

Hi, We're ready to purchase but don't know if we should buy Designer or Developer.

We want to add banner ads at some point. Can we do that with Designer?

If we buy the Developer, we get the source code and so we could add banner ads that way. Do we then need to encrypt the source code so it will run? Or is encryption optional?

Hi thanks for your interest in 68 Classifieds.

Most banner programs allow you to use javascript so you can use the designer. With the developer you could add the code to the php files which should give more flexibility.

Both editions do require encryption but the developer only has 2 files encrypted.

1) So if we purchase the Developer Pack, do we still need to use that ionCube package? I assume we do because 2 files are encrypted.

2) With the Developer package, can we run the site using pure php (instead of encrypted php), and it will all work fine?

Both the developer and designer require the use of ioncube to decode the encoded files.

The only difference between the 2 versions is one gives you acess to all but 2 php files and the designer doesnt give you access to any php files, they still both need ioncube.
