Default Can someone answer this question I have been inquiring about for the past month?

Hello,
In your version 4 final release, are you able to disable the pricing field so that it does not show in categories such as personal ads, help wanted ads, etc?

I hope so, maybe they can link to a demo of v4 so you can try it out. If not it is easily fixed via the templates.

You can do this in v3.1. Just make the price field not display through the usergroups.

It seems like the prefferable way to do this for the administrator/developer is, in the category setup. Just have the option to display price each category.

I think I was thinking of something different. If you are wanting to only show the price for certain categories then you would have to edit the showlistings template file and place several if/else statements.

It wouldn't be hard to make a module to do this as well.
