Fully customizable?

Okay, from what I'm reading, it seems that the program is fully customizable in terms of design, right? Whether I design my own page(s) or purchase a template, I can fully customize the look of my website as long as the PHP code remains. Is this correct?

Yes, you can fully customize the look of your site by working with graphics and html in the templates. Many templates come with the site. Tne main template, layout.tpl.php is the wrapper for everything else. Other templates are loaded into it. With the developer version, you can also change the functionality. Not that it needs it, but some of us seem to have a need to make life more difficult than it already is.
