Modification of template tables

Hi,

Can you modify the general look of the templates...
we have a design that we want to use throughout the pages...color, masthead etc...

We are creating a front page that willl contain info, news, banners and categories....then jumping to the page containing full categories...

We also do not want to center the categories ...just down the side...

Basically want a dropdown category on the left hand side with some room for banner ads at the bottom of the categories???...info in the center and on the right hand column to contain banner ads....
With all this we want to enlarge the page to 800 pix width or perhaps a bit more....

Also...did not want categories listed within the main center column....
just drop downs on the left...

and a question for Maffo...concerning banner ads...
can you rotate banners randomly with your banner mod?
