Default A few pre purchase questions

I am looking to replace our current classifieds (http://www.viperclub.org/menus/index_classifieds.htm) with a PHP classifieds that will integrate with VBulletin, with the extra module, it looks like 68classifieds will work.

A few questions,

1) If we purchase the Designer, and need ot update to developer, will we loose the layout work done in Designer?

2) Will it cost the difference between the two to upgrade?

3) I played with the admin demo for a while, changed a few things, and wanted to see what they looked like in the classifieds... how do I look at the results of the changes to the standard template that I did while I was admin??

Default Won't take my order....

Tried to order, got all the way through to filling in the CC info, clicked enter and got the following error:

Error#103 This Transaction Cannot Be Accepted.

Um..... where do I go from here?

Order number was 3639 if that helps.....

The only difference between the devloper and designer version is the developer gives you unencoded script files so you cam make changes at the PHP level. Both versions use the same templates so any changes you make while you have the designer version wont be affected if you change to developer version.

Yes, I believe that is the case.

That depends on the changes. If you were playing with the demo you cant really change the looks perse via the admin control panel but if you added categories, fields etc you should be able to place a test ad and see your new fields/categories etc.

Default more questions

1) Will I have the ability to have all ads be reviewed then approved before placement?

I do this to prevent bogus ads for viagra

2) Can I edit ads before placement if needed?

I often edit ads for spelling errors and such prior to placement...

I believe I responded a few minutes ago. I did find an error with our Authorize.net setup. We generated a new key but didn't update the old one.

So if you try now you should be able to complete payment.

Yes you can set this up in the administration. You can either turn on manual approval or turn it off which would have them immediately go live.

Yes this goes basically with the above. Plus you can also edit after the ad has been marked live.
