Default Installing in diff. subdomains

I'd like to install the software in different subdomains on my server. I want to do a site for my state, and was thinking in separating the listings by city.

ex.

http://ctity1.domain.com

http://city2.domain.com

but have everything separated.

I know you might think it's stupid, but that's how I want it.

Will I need more than 1 license to do this?
thx

This should be allowed. As long as it is at 1 domain all the subdomains should be covered. I believe it has unlimited installs per domain.

Yes John is correct. The only issue you would have is you need to access the administration area through yoursite.com/city/administration instead of city.yoursite.com/administration.
