Default Broken Arm Update

Hello everyone. I wanted to write a quick update and let everyone know I will be having another procedure done on my arm tomorrow. From what the doc said they will put me under and move my arm a whole bunch of times to break up the scar tissue.

I am really hoping after this everything will be fixed but who knows. It has been one thing after another.

Anyway I will not be in the office tomorrow or Friday but should be back Monday. If you need support during this time you can always submit a ticket or ask here on the forums.

I also want to take this time to send a BIG thank you to everyone and especially those that have spent time helping other users in my absence.

That doesnt sound like fun. I had rhuemetoid arthritis (guess I still do?) as an infant and was never supposed to walk. Id get up every morning as a young kid and couldnt straighten my one arm and one leg and it took hours of painfully trying to move them to gain use of them for the day only to have them "lock up" again when I went to bed. I assume the scar tissue build up is similar and once the bones have healed some you will need to continue to increase the use to keep the joints lubricated and scare tissue fre.

Take it easy and give us an update come monday.

Thanks again everyone

Good luck with the therapy. Having been pretty much reduced to kit form by a drunk driver 30 years ago, spending 18 months in hospitals and physical therapy clinics learning to walk again, I sympathize. It sucks.

Lucky for me it is just my arm. I haven't heard of that movie but will try and check it out. My wife has slight cerebral palsy so she can only use her right side. Normally it isn't a big deal. If she can't do something I would do it for her. But with my good arm broken we had to adapt.

This morning I had physical therapy and my arm is moving 100% better than Wednesday. Still have a ways to go though.

Aw, jeez, what were the odds of that? Now I feel terrible!

But it is a damn good movie. I saw it when it first came out, and it has stayed with me vividly ever since.

Keep at it!

Coincidently, my son broke his arm quite badly skateboarding a few weeks ago, and started his physio yesterday. I managed to get him through 10 years of skating without injury (being utterly fascist about making him wear elbow and knee pads and a helmet) ... now he's 21 and living back in England ... skating without protective gear ... the first thing he said to me after he broke it was "If you say "I Told You So" I'll never talk to you again!"

Oh c'mon, 12oz? That's just sooo wimpy! Go for the 16oz curls. That's what I do, but it doesn't seem to help my Tibia and Fibula that I broke in September.
