I can not get the search engine friendly urls module to work. Whenever I activate it, the only page I can access is the home page. All other pages are 401 errors, such as " The requested URL /categories/dogs-for-adoption.html was not found on this server."
Any suggestion on what I'm doing wrong with this module?

Can you double check the .htaccess file is uploaded from that module?

Also, is your web server running apache and does it have mod_rewrite enabled/installed?

I found the issue. When I changed the name of the file I forgot the . before htaccess. Its working now. Thank-you.
