Very well done James.

Just a thought, do you think that when you choose 'another' state, that it should go back to the home page? At present, if you have browsed some listings then change the location, the screen stays on the same display as previous (unless you are on the home page).

What do you think? Again, well done.

At first I design the choose method is go back to home page.but I think it's not a good user experience. So I change it to now ,it's easy to change at js script.

Maybe I design a admin menu is a best choice.

James - love the way it is developing.

Can I take you through a scenerio please as there is a bug.

Home page - I change the location to Perth and it shows there are 2 listings under the house icon.

I click on this icon and see the two listings.

I now change the location to Canberra. I receive the following error:

Code:
Not Found
The requested document was not found on this server.
The address of this error in the address box is:

Code:
http://www.8848.com.au/categories/category.php
This only happens when you are viewing the 'listings' available (the old 'showlistings' page). It is not happening if you change the location when you are viewing an actual listing.

Keep at it - you are doing well.

Can the link to show eg: 'All Cities' be added back in?

I still think it would be great if each time you choose to change the location, that it take you back automatically to the home page so that you can start to search/browse with your new chosen location.

Yes I found the bug too, I think it's caused by the IE ,I develop under firefox ,That's ok.

And I close the SEO modules that's OK, I will fix it today and test it in IE.

I will add the All cities to back in.Thank you very much.

The update:

I add GeoIP database to this modules and I can check your IP and your location if your city in 68C state or city database ,I can setup the city automatic.

But the database is too big 25MB , If any body want to know how to use it pls send email to me, I will give you the code sample.

Just to give all a heads up if you are following this thread.

The module is working like a treat now. You can play with it here: ?????????????? Everest Classifieds

James is cleaning up code at present - shouldn't be too far away from being completed.
