I want to purchase a template from thne recommended vendors on 68C, will the 4.0 onlyones work with 4.1?

If you look at http://classifiedmods.com it should show you the compatible versions for the templates listed.

On a side note, there are changes between 4.0 and 4.1 templates so it is a good idea to make sure a template is supported for the version you are running. Aside from that your question doesnt name a specific template or a specific designer so how can anyone give you a specific answer? When in doubt contact the developer of the module/plugin/template.

The templates that I have for sale at classifiedmods.com are specifically for version 4.0.x only, as indicated.

I am in the process of testing all of my template offerings. Although they do work with v4.1, there are some minor differences in some of the calls between versions. I want to go through everything to ensure 100% compatibility.

As a courtesy to my customers, I will offer a FREE update to a fully compatible V4.1 template for any of my templates purchased after February 1, 2009. Purchases for my templates made prior to February 1, 2009 can update for $5.00.

TemplateCodes will be offering a new selection of templates which are 4.1 compatible by Feb 21st which is less than 48 hours from now.

The first 10 customers will get two free modules included (search and pricing), normally priced at $40.

quick question: If I order the 68 Classifieds (4.1x) - Quick Start Packages from templatescode.com this includes a 68 classified license. Who will do the support for 68 classified related questions? Will that still be done by 68 or templatecodes.com?

The template and module are the responsibility of TemplateCodes.com . We also undertake 1st level support for 68 classifieds as the two are often intertwined, you have unofficial assistance on the forum of course and you will also have access to 68C's support ticket system in your 68C account for core issues. Basically you are covered. You can read our reviews on the classifiedmods site and in this forum as well Rounded Black/Silver
