First off, if you are making a new template DO NOT USE "index.html" as the file name!!! All the rest of the script is looking for the file named, "layout.tpl" within whatever template folder you have set in the admin. This will cause an error everytime.

As far as your direct question, you would need to give more specific information. Exactly what error was generated? (A parse error doesn't tell us much) What is the code that generated the error?

Thanks.

First .Yes thats correct. My listings always show as active no matter expired or not. Its should be marked inactive when they expired?
Because thats not the way its working.

Second. Let me explain. I want to change the look of my site. I found a template consisting of 2 files. One the index.html and the other the CSS that it use. How I integrate the listings to appear in the middle of my new look?
Modifying the index.php? Layout?

I will PM you with my site detail so you can see what im trying to do.
OH. Be patient with my English please.

You can not use a file called index.html as your template file. I has to be called layout.tpl to work with this script. Just rename the file. Second, in order for the script to work with your template, you still must include any of the calls that are in the original layout.tpl file. Anything that is wrapped within {} are calls to the other functions that make the script work.

I would suggest that you compare your template file with the original layout.tpl and copy and paste anything within the {} to your new file where you would like them to be.
