This is a really useful addition

What would really make it fantastic is the ability to call the various 'extra fields' you may have added to a category such as Cars (mileage, reg year etc.)

Even if it needs to be hand coded, is there a definite solution or this, i've found a few threads which have taken me in circles :P

Cheers

I got this error when trying to use the admin:

Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "customcats_browse.tpl.php" in /home/rt/public_html/includes/classes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

I just had an error on another mod. I'm running v4.0 rc9 designer. Do I need developer to use these mods?

Before I download this module, I would like to make sure that I understand what it is used for.

As it says for showlisting, then this is only for customizing how it looks in the list after a search and not in the viewlisting?

Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Mike that is correct. It basically allows you to have a custom showlistings template file for individual categories. This way you can have an autos section different than a houses.

I have just upgraded this module to v1.1. It now uses the new template file extensions.
