Description
By default the 68 Classified system only sends e-mails when an ad has been made available to the public. This means that ads placed using a package that has a fee and the payment method is not automated (ie payment by check) the client will not get an e-mail notifying them the ad has been placed until after payment has been received and the status of the ad changed by the sites admin.
Many people have modified their thanks template to display details on paying by check but that relys on the user printing off the page for future reference.
This module takes things one step farther. It replaces the thanks.tpl template with a new one based on the payment method. This allows you to only display check payment details if that truly is the payment form chosen.
In addition to that it also sends out an e-mail acknowledging receipt of the ad and giving the client instructions on how to send in payment.
The module uses template for the e-mails so they can be easily modified to suit your needs and it will send e-mail in either html or text based on your site wide admin settings.
