Post Category Tree Module

Description

This module replaces the first step of the checkout process with an expandable/collapsible tree for category selection. When the category tree is initially displayed, it will hide the "continue" button until a category is chosen that allows ads to be placed in it.

The tree nodes can be expanded and contracted by using the +/- sign to the left of the tree nodes OR by double clicking the the node itself.

The category tree module uses the category settings to determine if a category allows ads or not and this directly affects how the tree behaves. Categories that do not allow ads will have an icon that looks like a locked padlock and they can not be selected. That means that can be clicked on to contract/expand levels but the category will not stay highlighted.

Categories that do allow ads are represented by an icon that looks like an unlocked padlock. These categories will remain highlighted when single or double clicked and will also cause the continue button to unhide.

This module also comes with a The Category Tree plugin which allows you to place a navigational category tree on your site elsewhere on your site.

This module has been testing with 68 classifieds V4.0.9 and newer
