Default admin can't see user templates

We are having trouble with 68 Classifieds finding the administration user_add etc templates

The Smarty class is installed okay

The error:
unable to read resource: "users/users_add.tpl" in (path but the path is correct)

CHMOD is 777 for the folder. Is it because the path is really administration/templates/default/users/ ??????

And if that's the problem, how do we change it ?

Why do you need to do that? Unless you are trying to modify the admin control panel just add your template into the templates folder (with its config file, preview.png file etc) and it will appear as a choice automatically in the admin control panel.

We're not trying to add anything, just work with the standard installation

It isn't very clear what exactly you are trying to accomplish. What are you trying to do???

I sent you a couple of PMs. There are two templates in the system. A backend and a front-end. Those errors are associated the back-end but you are showing screenshots from the front-end. Unless there is some very good reason, you should not be changing the template under the administration area or even touching it. In the front-end yourdomain/templates/default/ you should make a copy. Call it what you like. Then go into your new template folder and change the name in the config file. Then go to your admin control panel and set that template. you can now modify that one. You are done. Always keep the default templates pristine in both the administration area and the front-end.
