Hi there, (v4.0.9 Hosted)
I have been through the search about this topic but never really go the answer, and having spoken to a few people in the forum there seems to be quiet a lot of us who want this feature. here goes..

Is it possible to have certain featured listings appear ONLY on certain pages of the site ?
for example; if you have a page on animals, or a page on autos is it possible to just show the featured listings for pets on the animal pages and cars on the auto pages ?

If so, does anybody have the answer on how to acheive this ? I have had a mess about with a few options but nothing came of it.

Many thanks, I know a few people would be as interested as me in obtaining this.

The featured listings you see displayed on the front page are handled by a smarty plugin which is basically a stand alone script.

Feature Listings Horizontal - 68 Classifieds

Its currently set up to take some user input but category is not. I would recommend copying the existing plugin, renaming it and tweaking it to accept a category as an option.

If you can't get it sorted file it as a feature request. I think that is a good idea.

I believe I've already made this, but I'm going off of my memory...

I'll check my dev files and if I have, I'll post back to this thread.

Thanks for all your posts, I (and a few others) would be greatful if anybody had any ideas about arranging the certain featured listing to appear on certain pages, (the code would be nice

), as I am still fairly new to all this I could do with a bit of a pointer....

The good news is, my memory is not failing!

I have sent my modified version to 68 Classifieds for consideration to be included in the released version. I am doing it that way to ensure that the powers that be can test it to ensure that there aren't any repercussions for this modification that I am not aware of.

Please stand by...

OK, seems like official testing turns out ok.

I think I actually posted the code to accomplish this a day or two ago.
You might be able to find it searching through my posts, I'm quite new so I don't have many.
