Chances are the script is working fine but your mail server is trashing the mail thinking its spam.

Is the e-mail address you have set in 68C belong to the same domain as your site? Also, if your not using SMTP mail I highly recommend it.

Default Email Problem

Hi
Strange thing - this morning when I signed in to email account the emails were there - have no idea how why or for what reason they took so long
I am not using SMTP as I have an email address for another site with this and I get so much thrash in it I am not inclined to change for this one - the important thing is that the ad goes on the site but as you know when a site is new you really want to check what the activity very often so getting emails is handy. Ill give it another couple of days and see how it goes and if its not working well I might use a different email -
Cheers

Anytime your dealing with e-mail there are many things to consider. You at least now know the script sent the mailso the problem is either the server where the mail account is hosted or the recipients e-mail server.

SMPT mail requires authentication so any time you set your site to use SMTP the mail the site sends is much more likely to be accepted by recipients mail servers.

Cheers for that - Ill give it a couple of days and see what happens - so far it has only happened with one person so it might just be their email account.
