Default Could someone please help

Hi there everyone.

I'm hoping that someone could please advise me.

If you go to

68 Classifieds

You can see that the top, left and right php includes do not look the way it's supposed to.

See the home page or iLoveQatar.net - A great resource for Expats, Locals, and Tourists for an idea of what I mean.

Does anyone have any idea or suggestions as to how I can fix this?

I've used {php}include('../left.php');{/php} for the left for example.

The second golden question for now is, can someone tell me where I need to edit in order to reduce the width of the content section? I've went into the css and changed the header from 960 to 100% for example and gone through the whole css to ensure that it's all in percentages rather than pixels.

What I mean to say is that, I'd really like to center everything. I just want a simple classifieds interface for people to be able to use easily, for it to be user friendly, and for people to post (without having to register).

I'd like it to eventually look like Qatar's Expat Forum (for Expats, Locals, and Tourists) (after moding)

Add back in the wrapper div to your layout.tpl

HTML Code:
<body>
<div id="wrapper">
</div>
</body>
As for posting without registration, you will either have to code it yourself or hire a developer. It isn't the easiest of things to accomplish.

Personally I dont understand what you are trying to fix. Links to sites are all fine and dandy but saying "they dont look the way the are supposed to" doesnt mean anything to me since I dont know how they are supposed to look.

Is this one question or 2? As for what you need to edit I suggest you download and use the firefox browser with the firebug plugin. It will show you the page code on the bottom half of the window and you can move the mouse over the various html elements and it will highlight, on the web page above, what the moused over html affects.

div di wrapper is the main 68C site but not the 68c content so when you say "content" I dont know if your referring 68C as you have buried in your other stuff or the 68C specific body. People cant give you specific help unless your very specific in what you need/want.

As for real easy site to use if you have a site where people can place ads without registering you are going to be a spammer heaven, good luck with that.

@juven, I shall give that a try

@lhotch, I have provided links so that you can see what it is supposed to look like. I didn't just post random links...

The left menu looks correct on iLoveQatar.net - A great resource for Expats, Locals, and Tourists (the main page) and it does not look correct on the classifieds.

The second part was a question related to the center area of the classifieds and how to minimize it's width. I'll also give firebug a try.

I'm not one of those people that just ask questions before trying

My goal is to have the classifieds looking like the forum Qatar's Expat Forum (for Expats, Locals, and Tourists) (in terms of layout) once finished.

I do understand that if people can post without registering there may be issues with spam, but that's why I'd have spam hurdles.

I wanted to set that up temporarily until I can find someone to hire to help create a method of having three seperate scripts integrate with one user.

I've tried adding the div but it just made everything go wonky.

I've been playing around for ages :'(
