Thinking about Releasing a New Skin

I am in the process of taking a skin have for another business I currently run and emulating it to work with 68c.

This skin is an emulation of a skin from a script that I purchased, although I am coding it from scratch in order to not violate any copyright laws.

So far I am about half way finished with it, as I am only working on it in my free time. Not sure what type of price would be involved, as It relies on a few things, like how much time spent, how many people are interested in it etc.

Here is a pic, it comes in three color schemes, Green Blue and Red, nothing overpowering though,

Of course it wouldnt look exactly like this, in fact the version I am working on now, looks even better in my opinion

Id be interested in buying it if you made all the forms work.
Eg "find you vehicle here" and popular models" ect.
Are you planning on doing that?

Yes I plan to make everything that came stock with 68c work.

Featured listings will look similar

search on home page will look similar

(although you will need my modified ajax.php to get the css formatting, not sure if the designer version is encrypted or not, so if its not, I will include the modified ajax.php, if it is encrypted, people will need to get developer in order to make search forms look good with css.)

I dont have a news module yet, but if I get it, I will make the skin work with it
(those wanting the news mod will have to obtain it from maffo)


I will release pictures of the template when its finished, if the demand is there, and than users can decide for themselves if they want it or not.

Like I said above, I am working on it in my spare time, so its not gonna be done extremely quickly.

Modifying it to fitt your site should be a snapp, by changing 2 images, the logo and the introductory pic (with the car)

I am thinking that the image with the car will only be on the home page, and a shorter version will be on top of the other pages, so users dont have to scroll down past it every time they visit a new page.

One last thing, if the demand for the skin isnt there, I wont release it, I would rather just keep it for myself and not have to deal with providing support for the skin.

If there is a decent amount of demand for it, I will charge a fair price based on how long it takes, and also I will provide an initial week or 2 of support for each customer in case they run into any trouble installing it.
