problem with edite template

hello everyone


i had a problem when i was trying to edit the template showlistings.tpl file in the front page i had an error when i was uploading it into my site

i don't know the reason or the solution and i would like to know if it possible to edit files through using the front page , what is the way to edit files

Hi,

You can edit files with Frontpage but you may want to use its code editor. Frontpage likes to add a lot of unnecessary code that can be causing problems.

I recommend using a text editor but you would have to know some basic html.
