Default Image hotspot

Hi Everyone,
The basic template looks pretty good to me, and will use it as it is, however my site will be closely linked to a joomla community site on a similar domain, I have modified the background image for the tab menu and I need to create an image hotspoto over one of the mods, i can make the sliced image in either fireworks or dreamweaver and export it as an .htm file but I am a mere mortal and not a coder and only have a basic understanding of html and css, I have tried various things like pasting the resulting dreamweaver code into the tabs section of the css (inside the background image source brackets) but it just either loses the image completely or moves everything around depending on where you put the code, how can i create a hotspot on the bigbox.gif image to link to my community site?, any help would be appreciated

Do you have any type of wysiwyg editors? Like Dreamweaver, frontpage, etc?

If so I would recommend creating a new file in it with that image and then letting it create the code for it.

I'm not sure I'm quite following you. Which image is it that you want to change? the blue bar or the individual tabs for each tab menu item?

Thank you both for replying, but have decided to go down a completely different avenue now and put the image map elsewhere (and it is working) so I dont need to do this anymore, but thanks again. no doubt I will need your advice in the future
