want to include a header

[arminium]

um not sure why but i can't seem to include a header

i have tried to include it on index and layout.tpl

using

include('/home/path/path/file.tpl');

when in tpl i tried <? ?> and <?php ?>

the site im doing is pretty large and i only want one header that has links to everything

its works across the site everywhere else just not sure where to put here

and then i will need to create a header file to put in the session id in

[arminium]

don;t worry i forgot the semi colon to end the line
