$Body Variable?

Default $Body Variable?

Hi,

Does anyone know where i can find that variable? Im trying to edit the body area and i guess that is where i can do that...i think. Thanks in advance.

You can find it in templates/your template/layout.tpl.php

The body variable contains the name of a template thats being displayed in the "body" of a page. When you say you want to edit it I assume you want to edit the template and not the variable itself.

Open up the template file layout.tpl.php and at the very top place the following...

{debug=true}

save the file and then when you view a page on your site it will cause a popup windo to appear and it will show you the variables in use and their values. This will tell you what template is used for the body for each page you view so you know what template to edit.

When done you can remove the above line of code from your layout template.
