I am using Smarty to make templates for a website, in order to make it very flexible i am calling tpl files from within other tpl files to change different sections of the web pages, i would like to make a portion of it rotate the tpl file calls from one file to another then back....is there any way of doing this without causing the entire page to refresh or change?

The only way I could think of would be through ajax. I would recommend looking at something like cpaint which is what we use for ajax.
